Should I stay or should I go?
To move or not to move? That was the question I was asked when I was retained by these clients. The hub of the house, their kitchen, was dated and didn’t function properly for a busy family of four and their frequent guests.
The solution? Open a wall to the adjacent living area; add a large island with seating and ample storage and change the dated desk niche into a coffee area that doubles as a wet bar for entertaining.
State of the art appliances are hidden behind custom millwork and sparkling glass tile; antique mirror and reflective pendant lights add glamour and sophistication.
We traded the moving truck for a dump truck, and they stayed.
