This differs from traditional residential home design projects in that homeowners typically have nothing from which to judge the level of quality or style they are being given a price for. By owning your own plans, every bid is leveled in the same way because you already know, and each contractor is quoting, exactly what you want.

Already have architectural home plans but still need to develop millwork and cabinetry designs? You have ownership of those plans and have the ability to request competitive bids from cabinetry retailers who all provide quotes based on the same information. This saves you a tremendous amount of time because you’re not trying to assess whether the salesperson is capable of providing you with a good design or what is motivating them to make a particular recommendation.

In slow or very robust real estate markets, your home needs to stand out. Many clients purchase our home renovation designs to demonstrate the potential of a less than perfect space and use the plans as a visual tool to help prospective buyers see what incredible potential the home has.
